A Lot is a managed group of birds (broiler grow-out, layer flock, or hatchery set) tracked from placement to close against a house.

• Record daily mortality, feed, and (for layers) eggs from the round screens.
• Per-vertical detail lives under /broilers, /layers, and /hatchery.

What to keep an eye on

A lot under an active medicine withdrawal cannot be sold or harvested without an audited override. Closing a lot is a status change, not a delete.
